Strut Mount from MX6

Will the strut mount, from an MX6, which is a little thicker than mine, work on the MX3? my buddy with a late80's early 90's mx6 says its the same as escort and protege, which means it would fit? anybody offer advice?

All strut mounts are identical for all of the forementioned cars (Protege, 323, Tracer, Escort, ZX2 and MX3).

I don't see ford probe either, which is the Ford version of the MX6 (longer front nose, no spoiler). So I would say no.

if he has a spare one sitting around you could try it, but i doubt it would fit.

I think it fits. When I ordered my ground control camber/caster plates I remember the guy saying they were the same as the MX-6. I just checked their website and they only list the 1st gen MX-6 for the camber plates. So from that I'd think they are the same.

2g mx6 n probe mounts will fit but it will raise your car like 1/2 inch. i dont know about 1g cars
