I gotta prob with my MX-3, my fan motor is working (can hear it running on all speeds), but if I have the flow through switch on, only cold air blows through in the winter, if I switch it to recirculate, the air blows hot, but my windows fog up immediately. I had the heater core flushed b4 i bought it, and replaced the thermostat recently, still no help. wat can i do, wat cud b the problem?

How can the heater core be toast if heater blows hot air on recirc? Are you not just closing the outside air intake when on recirc? Unless Cyko is getting warm rather than "hot" air on recirc. Wild guess - air locks in cooling system?

anybody know if there is an cabin filter in the car?

was thinking maybe he doesn't have one, and too much air getting into the cabin, and not being able to heat it up fast enough.

well, thx for the info so far, im not much of a car enthusiast yet, but learning slowly, so i couldnt tell you if there is a cabin filter, all i kno is its a stock 95 MX-3 GS. Iv replaced the thermostat (185*), installed a block heater, and had the heater core flushed.

Well, I just took out the passenger side panel (17):

Took a peek inside and found what seems like a cabin filter, no ideia how to access it. I have a 92, so every mx3 should have this.

Thermostat, 25% of new ones are bad, letting to much water through, get an expensive one &/or test it.
you will thank me later
