Like the topic states...my mx stalls when you take a left turn. it is a 95 RS auto... it has stalled like this for quite sometime...since i have got the car a year ago. does anyone have any idea at all what the problem is?? im looking to sell my car sometime soon so i think i need to fix this if its not too big of a problem. any type of attempt to help is greatly appreciated!

I've seen this one a few times and every time I see it I think it seems so unlikely..... There could be some debris in the tank that blocks the fuel pick up in the tank on left hand corners. Fix - pull out the fuel pump and clean out any rubbish in the tank.

that sounds kind of right too because..my engine bay is reeeaaallly dirty with gunky oil and crap..i will post back on the results..thanks!

I agree. same thing happened to my 1st project car, there was gunk in the tank. I just replaced the tank. Was a PITA, but I found a new one online for like 135 bucks.

WOAH my moms car (escort gt ) stalled on me today while giving a left turn!!! I was speeding and then i slowed down and turned left then boom..died out. COuldnt start i was like wtf...then it started like 2 minutes later.... I finally figured this happened becuase I messed with the automatic transmission cable.. It was set way over half. I tried it againa nd it stalled again..failed to release 4th gear and dies out..so I messed with the loine and walla it worked...im hopiong this is your problem also? Im assuming they got the same tranny?
