Ok i dont know much about cars, but my exhaust is shooting out white smoke majorly!!

Only in the mornings before I go to school, but theres ALOT of smoke for about 2 minutes, enough to cover my car and other cars, then after a few minutes it stops and no problems, but then happens every morning

does it smell? could be a sign that something in the emmissions system is going. like the cat or 02 sensors.

White smoke can be cause by coolent/antifreeze getting into your oil and burning off which would indicate you have a blown head gasket.

That or its really cold out

check your oil, does it look right???

It could just be steam! its quite common here in cold ol' UK!!

if it jus smells petrol-ish then it probably is, do you have a small amount of water collecting in the tail pipe(s)?

i wouldnt personally think its a major problem if it happens for 2 mins in the morning, i create clouds of steam in the morning at the moment cause it so cold right now!!

So i just need a new head gasket?

calm down man you live in ontario... its common in our winters for white smoke to shoot out of the exhaust when the car is warming up. Its caused by condensation in the exhaust piping from the heat of the firing in the engine meeting the cold air in the exhaust and pipes. It goes away after 2 mins so theres nothing wrong after 2 mins everything is warmed up to proper operating temperature and hence not as much condensation. You have nothing to worry about seeing as it hasnt been very warm lately

i would tend to agree with that. Unless you've noticed some serious power losses, the white smoke it just because of the cold. Just about every car billows white smoke on a cold morning.
