Power window issues

so the power window stopped raising, motor works and everything but it just doesnt go up unless i lift it. it will go down but in spurts. any one know of a fix or reason for this?

try some wd 40 on the elevators...that worked for me. Also do the key locks and everything that moves inside the door while you are at it..dont forget door hinges

One thing that went on me was the little arm that pushed the contacts inside teh switch was getting week and couldn't efficiently complete teh circuit, either causing the window to do up slowly or actually wouldnt go up anymore, it would flex back when trying to push the contact to put the windows up, but would stay rigid (like it's suppose to) when pushing the contacts in teh other direction when putting the windows down. It did that for both passenger, and then the driver side experience the same thing a year later.

the motor sounds like it is working fine, not straining or anythingi believe it is the regulator. thought thier might be a known issue or something

on cars 10 or 12 years old,oil is usually the issue

Is their any way to greese up the window without having to take the door panel off?
