Happy new year everyone...just wondering if anyone has ever had any winter wiper blades that dont seem to function how they r supposed to?
my drivers side one is fine but the passenger's does not clean or even touch the bottom half of my windshield. the summer ones fit fine. i got the winter's at canadian tire and brought in my old ones to be sure i had the right size, they even had a book there that says the sizes of wipers for a bunch of cars.
did i just get a defective wiper? i've tried to bend it to the curve of the windshield but it won't. they are not cheap wiper blades so i don't get it. anyone experience this :?:

your problem all stems from winter blades not having as much flex as the summer blades. That sheet of rubber protecting your wiper from freezing is also stopping your wiper from touching all of the glass. Nothing I can think of to help you since I have never had winter blades cause I only drive my car once a week

They make new blades now that conform to the window and are specific for winter you should try those out.. Or do what I do and dont drive your mx  Get a tracker or something.. Mine was $250 and its awesome.

Heres what I'm talking about..

I just installed the reflex wipers last night, so far they seem really good compared to the aerofoil winter ones that Canadian tire has. Plus they are really low profile so they don't blow up and the 21" wiper in the back doesn't look ridiculous like it did before because of huge design of the others.
