Hey. i'm getting a drift body kit, the kit doesnt have the front turn signals molded in. I was wondering if there is a way to put the turn signal bulb into the headlights. Inside the case. thanks.

yea its real easy. i've done the mod, but since i painted my side housing black, it didn't reflect much light and wasn't bright enough, but you should be ok.

what i did was take off the lense (if you don't know how to do it, you can find out by searching) and drill a hole in the unused side housing of the headlight. then you mount your universal turnsignal there (that you see on the sides of cars a lot) and wire it like any other turnsignal. be sure to seal up the headlight tight with sillicone and you'll have to do the same with the hole that you drilled. try to seal both sides of the hole if you can. be sure to test the turnsignal too before you seal up that headlight. you dont want to find out its not working after you finished everything.

moved to lighting

i was thinking...how bout Miata headlights..the new ones...the look like they would fit..or pontiac grand am lights...let me know.

Any other vehicle's headlight that you might wish to retrofit will require body panel modification.

are you talking about the old rectangular miata lights..or the new ones...i'm talking about the new lights..im thinking that they would just pop in..since they are the same shape and everything.

No other headlight will fit the MX3, the nearest I have come across was for the MG ZF, its the same shape but does not have the same direct line up. These headlight are also Projector style . I will be attempting to fit these when my CF hood comes. Ill keep you posted, if it works.
