Me, I think... I put through the paypal payment just now, so I hope it's underway. I've been around here for a few months posting away, but had to wait a bit with school commitments for the payment.
About me? I worked out of RCTS here in Calgary for over a year (http://www.monsterhorsepower.com), on many different cars. I've also worked in Quebec with http://www.turbinetech.ca and I currently retail a few automotovie performance items mainly for friends and myself. I'm not an official retailer for Turbine Tech goodies as there isn't enough mark up to make it worthwhile, but if anybody wants any custom turbo goodies... he definetely makes the best handmade stuff I've come accross. If you guys need something else performance related, I should be able to help in that area as well.
I currently am attending school full time, and do part-time tuning consulting amongst other jobs. The tuning consulting generally involves hooking up true 5 wire widebandand playing on modified (sometimes stockish) cars. Good way to see state of tune. I use it as a cheaper alternative for those who want to know their car is running safely, without spending big bucks on a wideband themselves or dyno runs.
My Mx3 is 93 SOHC, and I'm not terribly fond of it's power output at the moment. Just about as soon as I got the MX3, I picked up a donor Escort GT (few months ago). The BP has been ported... just waiting on a valve job. Then I'll be stealing the brakes from the Escort and from there it'll be time for some more fun with turbo. I have an equal length manifold, t3/t4b turbo (biiig), big FMIC etc. coming from TurineTech in Quebec. I'll probably just run the motor in a while without turbo, then have it on by summer at the latest.
I look forward to coming to meetings when I can, and meeting the people on here.
Who should I send any pictures to?
