You know that vaccum tube that connects to the side of the air intake? Do you need that there?
Wtf does it do anyway? :confused2:

Yea, you need it. Mazda doesn't just put random tubes in its intake system to confuse ppl.

There is a technical answer to this question and I wish I could give it to you. lol Something about keeping the proper seal??? Pretty much, if you don't plug that hose in you'll either lose power or the car won't start at all.

Someone help here! lol

I saw some guy on here that had that thing disconnected and his car runs...

i believe its pcv vent tube, its supposed to be filtered unless you want all crap in your engine.
