wish me luck

if all goes well, by next weekend my search might be over. after several failed attempts, I have found a gem: a 1992 Elegant Beige Metallic RS, with just over 66k miles. The price is $1600, which I think is pretty good for that low mileage. As long as the car doesn't get sold by the time I can go to pick it up, it should be mine. Win or lose though, eventually I will join the club :)

he's selling it b/c he is getting another car. things are looking good so far, I think I might be able to snag this one. I was surprised to find one with such low mileage, normally the ones I find have over 100k miles. and this is the first one I have seen in that color, I don't know if they are just not that common or not that common in this area.

well, unfortunately i'm going to be delayed in getting the car. i just found out that i can't pick it up on a Saturday like I had planned, b/c I will need to get a tag for it in order to drive it home, and tag places aren't open on the weekend. So we'll see if I'm able to get it. It's been a weird week. First I have the prospect of finally getting an MX-3, and a pretty decent one from the looks of things, then I find out I got a teaching job, then I find out I might not be able to get the MX-3. This week has had it's ups and downs, that's for sure.

Hang in there bro. About a month and a half ago, I bought a 93 Blaze Red MX3 RS, with a busted transmission for $1600 and at first he wanted $2200 because a handful of people were interested in it, even with the busted tranny. So, you are truely joining a proud and diverst community by buying it.

!Keep the faith bro!

well, the beige mx3 deal fell through, but right now i'm about an hour away from winning a blaze red 95 mx3 rs on e-bay for $1500. if that holds up, i'll finally be joining the club. the car has just over 120k miles, in case anyone is curious. a blaze red mx3 would look pretty nice parked next to my milano red 99 Civic ex (not the most favorite kind of car around these parts, but I like her and she treats me well.)

nah, i had it at $1500 and the reserve was met, but in the last hour, someone outbid me. now i'm kinda torn between getting and MX-3 or an old school Miata, both of which i think are stylish cars that would be fun to drive, and they are both Mazda's so I can't lose either way.

you should hold out for an mx-3 over the miata, miata's are great cars but mx-3's have more style to them in my opinion.

yeah, i'm sure most people around here would choose the mx-3 over the mx-5, because after all, this is mx-3.com. i like both cars though. maybe eventually i'll be able to get both.
