I had this ugly bump when driving at over 50 mph. So i tought it was a bad tire. I did notice that one of my rims has some sort of dent on the ege but still the rim looks round. Still I swapped the front tores for the back. The car doesnt seem to go to the right as much and it doesnt seem to have that little bumpng sound. Anywho..where can I find another rim? stock oens are enkei right? for a gs? I still havent driven it over 50, ill try it today. If bumping still presists..what else can it be..out of alignment? can that cause shaking?

Could be as simple as unbalanced wheels. If you havent got properly balanced wheels it'll be a very bumpy ride after 80-90kph (50mph).
When I fixed up the dents and scratches on my rims I had them rebalanced - big difference in feel and handling after that. Doesn't cost much here in Sweden to get it done either.

Have the balance checked. If the dent is so bad that it can't be rebalanced, PM me. I just ordered a whole set of the stock Enkei 6 spokes, but I really only need one. Should have them by Mon or Tues.

Anyways, you're lucky our car still drives. The reason I ordered the wheels was a I hit a small boulder in the road at 40 MPH. It knocked an entire chunk of metal about 9"x3" right the hell out of my wheel. :freak:

Im going to get it re aligned..i think its just an aligment problem since my moms escort does the same thing and its not aligned properly. About the rim, yeah i might be itnerested in one or maybe even 2 since the person that sold me the car..painted one rim white for no reason..unless he got it off a junk yard. I noticed these rims are light :o w00t. I like them. How much do you want for it? Theres this other guy that is parting out an mx3 dunno if imma get the rim from him. Depending if he wants to sell em in pairs or seperate, let me know :D

I'll have to see the condition first. If they just have scratches but are straight and still in decent condition, I was thinking $40 plus actual shipping each? Does that sound about right? I don't mind giving you the better looking ones cosmetically since I plan on painting them all silver anyways.

There isn't anything wrong necessarily driving around with a dented rim as long as it can be balanced. If it can't be balanced then you probably won't have a smooth ride and it will cause the tire to be damaged over time.

Dented rims can be repaired assuming the damaged isn't too bad. Also if the cost of repair is more or too close to the cost of a new one then just forget about repairing it.

Mazda MX-3 rims are fairly easy to find, if you can't find someone already selling them on the board then look at a local junk yard for them.
