Erebuni GTR Wing, Problem here....

Ok, Now I'm sure some of you here have the GTR Wing from Erebuni, I got a few questions for ya'. I recived it this morning, First Problem: I look at the box, it is destroyed, demolished, looks like it fell off the shelf alittle to many times. Then I notice the box is rather small to be holding such a huge wing. Well I bring the box inside and open it, I pull out 6 peices of fiberglass. 2 Fins, 1 Wing, 1 Garnish, and 2 screw hole covers. Well...I sat there dazed and confused staring at these peices of fiberglass, because I was thinking I was getting a wing...lol. Well I begin to inspect the peices and notice 2 cracks in the garnish, so of Course I immitatly called Octane Motorsports (the company I bought it from) and told them about it. Well when you notice a problem like that, you begin to inspect more, NOTHING FITS TOGETHER! ..will someone help me here? I got 6 peices of fiberglass that doesn't fit worth $350 and I don't know what to do, How did your wings arrive? did they fit, etc. Let me have some things to curse the company about. Thanks.

Yep-- Typical.

You will need to have a bodyshop put that on your car.

I dont think anyone who has one of the GTR wings has received one that fit right.

Sounds right though... 6 pieces. You didnt know that when you ordered it??

no I didn't know that, It didn't say it anywhere, the guy I ordered it from didn't say anything, I thought it would come assembled like my brothers GTR wing for his MX-6.

I installed mine about a week ago and what you are talking about seems typical ....the tricky part is drilling holes through the underside of your hatch to align the 2 side pieces and then you gotta make sure that the center part is centered so that when you attach it to the sides that it fits perfect ...I didn't even use the fiberglass hatch garnish that came with the wing it was unfittable and also cracked like yours

took me about 2 hours to completely install it ...after testfitting and marking adjustments

THe body shop that installed my erebuni wing had no trouble. Also used the hatch garnish.

Mine came all the way from Topmix International in Hong Kong... in 6 pieces.
All in perfect condition and top quality, but still a pain to fit. (same goes for the bumper I got with it)

I spoke with my body man, He said he's delt with worse, I'm gonna have to leave my car with him for about 2 days for him to mold the Hatch Garnish and install the wing painted, etc. it's gonna run me around $100-150 to have it installed, Octane Motorsports said they would replace the wing since the garnish had two cracks in it, but my body man said he can fix it no problem since he was molding it anyway. I originally wanted the Pak Wing, but I heard it was even harder to install, plus shipping to the US would have killed me. Once I have the wing installed, I'll take pictures and post it on my cardomain site. Thanks for the help.
