Sent my car in for a paintjob and the guy phoned me and said he saw this amazing job done where instead of two racing stripes there were three. Anyone seen this? are there any pics out there? i want to see what it looks like.

Umm...the only kind I have seen would have been two larger stripes on the left and right, with a thinner stripe in the middle of the two. It looked good, if you're into stripes Lots of ppl like them. I'm just personally not a fan...

mit dude no need to be mean... some people like the racing stripes.. doesn't mean they think it will make the car faster.... if we all had the same taste in looks our cars would sucks

Only time I like racing stripes is blue on white, or white on blue. Any other way looks cheesy to me. I've seen the offset stripes and other variations, but two thick stripes centered on the car through the whole length of the car look best ot me.

i was just asking a question... you don't have to be mean about it. some people like for their cars to look different or original and use paint and detailing to get that.

i didnt get what you ment, no stripes on dodges? what youre talking about, every R/T had stripes, challengers had stripes, AAR cudas had side stripes

hey my 67 cuda, yellow. had black stripes so what gives? and ye those stripes made me go faster, esp downhill.

A lot of viper stripes are done badly, so people think they look crap.
Thing is, they look great with the right colour combos and correct thickness and length (eg. not 2 thin stripes over the hood alone).

Its amussing how sometimes that sarcastic tone doesn't really come through when read in text eh Curt?
