fuel gauge

i just installed the revers glo gauges last night and it took me a while. but im happy with them. what sucks is i broke the temp needle off. and my fuel gauge now says i have a full tank when i have a near empty one.im not worried too much about the temp but how can i fix the fuel gauge?? thanx
92 RS: BPT, evo front mount, custom 2.5 in IC pipes, apex-i SAFC- II, GReddy type-RS BOV, rear disc swap, GTX front strutbar, oem GS lower rear tie bar, Topspeed1 axle back exhaust, 15" TSW wrapped in yokohamas, power window swap. NOT INSTALLED: GReddy turbo timer and CS downpipe.

sounds like if its a temp or fuel level gauge, you didn't wire the signal wire... usually if its still showing a full tank, that means you have your ground, 12V and light wires hooked up.. which wlll make the needle go all the way up when the gauge gets power.. the signal wire is used to tell the gauge when to stop going up. check your wire connections.

I've got 3 parted out cluster I could yank the temp part out for you.

I need a fuel/temp gauge, I broke a needle. Lemme know if u have another.

yo i just installed my new "reverse glow" gauges today! and yea, somehow i broke the freakin gas needle off.. cant get it back on but o well. your problem could possibly be that you put it on upside down. hehe maybe? well anywayz, the needlez suck, but it looks so clean when its all done! peace peace<p>~ sam

once the needle is removed, you cannot put it back on by hand. you'll have to take it to a professional and see what they can do, but i can't promise you they'll be able to fix it either. you midas well buy a new cluster.

coo 2fazed, how much do you want for it? and i'll try checking the connections when i have more time. i need to fix the guages too cause the tach needle is sticking like crazy!!

where was i suppose to get the power source from? i got it from the back of the cluster. i just hooked the wire up to the TSV or something like that, the circuit tha connects to the illum lights. and the ground from back there too!

Exactly which part do you need? (fuel,temp,mph,rpm)

Okay, I got the temp gauge, needle is intacted, but I don't know if it works, so it's as-is. The only other gas gauge I have is from a 626. The needle is different, but works. I made a complete cluster but I'm not going to part it out.

i sorta had the same problem with the fuel guage but i just went to the gas station filled it up and took my cluster back out and set it on full
