Momo Wheel Install

Post by Johns93GS »

Hey guys - anyone with a momo steering wheel, maybe you can help.
I have my wheel and my hub adapter is on order... When I go to install the wheel, I need to know a few things -
Probably a really dumb question, but when I remove the wheel cover, is there anything I need to be VERY careful of, not to damage or airbags or that kinda crap?
I know I can do this install, but if I f*ck up - im screwed. Should I just have the shop do it???

unhook the negative battery cable so the airbag doesn't go off in your face...

go to your local auto parts store and get a steering wheel puller, make sure the bolts are the right size, I bought a powerbuilt one for like $16 that had almost all the bolt sizes you would need for almost any steering wheel. Its like a 10 min. job.
