i want to change my interier light( it call dome light? the two lights near the sunroof switch) to superwhite or blue..<p>anyone know what type of bulbs is it? where could i buy it?<p>anyone had done it before?<p>THX>>>FOR HELP

I know the Sylvania and GE part nuber is 194. 194NA is amber.

it is easy,, just take me 10 mins...<p>but my new blue bulb($2.50Ca) is weaker than stock one.

How do the blue lights look inside? How do you open the thing up to put the bulbs in? Thanks.

the blue lights inside look hott. to take off the plastic you just need to pry it off with a knife or screwdriver. then just pull out the bulbs and put the new ones in. i got mine at advanced auto for 2.00. they had red or blue.

I have blue in mine, they turn green eventually, now I'm just too lazy to change em back to white. eh, oh well.

LEDS! they will be tons brighter... when it gets warmer out I will do it. It won't take but 2 mins.

2 mins to install LED's in the interior lamp housing? please give me instructions. I was going to go LED's also.

I got hyperwhites in mine,now leds i wont mind either!

I have a red and black theme for my interior. I used 194R bulbs in the dome light, and along with the red neons on the floor and between the seats it really adds alot. I always used to keep the dome light off altogether because I liked it nice and dark, but now at night sometimes I'll drive with the dome light on and the neons, its amusing to look over at a friend in the passenger seat and their whole face is lit up red. It makes my white fuzzy dice look red too. I think they're bright enough but I might wanna give LEDs a try, so when someone does it I'll consider trying it out. Out of all the little minor mods I've done with my car, does anyone else agree with me that getting the lens off the rest of the dome unit was a big pain in the *** ? Those diagrams in the manual couldn't have been more unclear.

Ya ya, reviving an old thread. Anyways, I searched, obviously, and found this thread, but I have pried at every bit of my dome light and cannot get into the area to change the bulbs. This should be the easiest thing of life but I can't seem to do it......

Do I pry the clear plastic? I didn't wanna pry too hard and crack it.

Ya, plastic clear cover comes off, lights pop out from there.

i have blue in mine but i used the leds they are ok for brightness i also put 1 in above the ashtray the ones i have are pretty bright ill get pics of the ones i used later this week

Ah ok. There we go. Seriously had to find THE THINEST knife in my entire house to slip in that tiiiny tiny crack and pry it off.

I bought an LED dome light from Evo, but it wasn't til after I got it that I realized it didn't have a moonroof switch... Sooo now I am going to just replace the bulbs in my dome light.

could of asked me, i would of helped =)
