i know a guy that wants to race my 92 mx-3 gs and he has a 96 240sx.both cars are stock and stick but i have aftemarket intake so who do you think will win?we are going from start and 45mph roll.

240'S GOT LIKE 155 Hp AND 160 LB/FT TOURQUE.

Our stock engine is not that great. Throw in a klde or ze, and then you will smoke him.

why would you ask people if you are going to win. Just do it, and have fun. By asking if you are going to win, you just make yourself look dumb and insecure.

You could win... with a 50shot of NOS...

haha why would you even try to race a k8 engine? lol tink about it..urs v6 BUT u are 1.8 ..isnt he a v6 3.0? the nissan maximas engine? I used to have a maxima and that was FWD and it could haul more arse than our mx3 well race it for fun but consider your money gone.

Oh I love you type of people. Prolly running your mouth off to the guy, then you throw down money, and you come here and ask if you are going to win. If it was an older 240, with the single cam KA24DE you prolly could take him. But the newer DOHC KA's are pretty decent engines having quite a bit of tourque for a 4 banger. If you were worried you won't win, why did you bet money?

no its 2.4 , since 240 sx...get it? 3.0 will be V6, but 2.4 is only altima engine, who knows you might take him, theyre heavy and altima engine isnt fastest ive seen

I've seen a caravan take down a Celica GTS and a protege5 take down a RSX Type-S so I would say it's not impossible. Get some good tires, get a perfect take off and shifts and you have a chance. Specially if he thinks he's all cool. If he thinks that you have no chance and just sits and spins his tires for 5 seconds because he dumped the clutch. Go somewhere and practice your take off, you want very little wheel spin. If you get all nervous and take off at too high rev you will just spin your tires or have some awful car hopping which you can't make up for because you don't have enough HP/torque.

I didnt know they let you do a 45mph roll on the local drag strips... interesting.

he is my brother and he just got the 240 and said he will smoke me.we play around like that all the time.its just a fun bet.
