93 MX3 V6 ABS when you come off throttle at junctions etc. it won't idle sometimes it just catches itself and idle vey low sometimes it stops
I've turned air throttle screw up to keep revs up for now. there is a 'vacuum' sensor on side of air filter box (pipes have been shorted together) what does this do.
Cheers Paul

i've been having the same problem recently, and i found that turning on the ac or heat would raise my idle just enough to keep the car running ok. I just dropped it off at the shop to have it looked at and they said it is a bad intake gasket thats causing it. $300-400 to fix. So if you have it looked at then that might be your problem.

if it only does it when the car is WARM....it is very very likely your coolant temperature sensor.

This is located on top of the coolant neck (where the radiator cap is) and is the GREEN one. You can go ahead and replace both the black & green one if you want, but the green one is the one that tells the ecu how much fuel to give the engine.

New ones cost $18 from advance auto parts or autozone and are really easy to replace. 19mm is how big the socket is and it should come right out. Don't overtighten them either and ALWAYS use the copper washer they come with or it'll leak coolant.
