Most of you know i got screwed by osaka motors on an engine.. I cant do anything about it so I need to get it installed now..

can anyone tell me if i can take my old manifold or the 1.8l v6 and put it on the klde ? for me this would eliminate the problem with the neck and such.

Thanks

You can pretty much kiss your chances of getting a refund goodbye if you install that engine....why don't you just wait until those bastards refund your money? One way or another, you'll get your money back.

How did you pay? If you paid via credit card, reverse the charge! If not, file a police report with the money order and all that crap photocopied and they'll force osaka to give you your $$$ back.

I'm surprised the CC company won't go after these guys. Any time I've run into trouble with something I've purchased on a CC they go out of there way to get your money refunded.

First of all, don't settle for the DE if you payed for a ZE. Something has to be done, theres no way you're just going to get screwed by a company and just settle for it, especially not an engine in the condition of the one they gave you. And secondly, if you're going to install the engine, theres no need to swap the intake manifold. It fits just fine, the neck problems are from the ZE straighnecks, not DEs. Good luck with getting either a new engine or your money back.

I got my DE for $400 from my friend with only 29,000 miles on it. The engine still looks new and has only like 31,000 miles on it now.

yes.. de.. the thing about em there about 160hp which is only 120-130 at the wheels .. which is quite sad :)

not that there bad engines just no one should ever pay more than 500 tops for a minty one.

Throw in a set of Interprep cams and a KLZE intake manifold, and you're over 200 HP.

The one I posted above, however, for $2000.00 not only is a completely new block, heads, intake, and throttle body, but also has all new sensors like the TPS, crank angle sensor, and IAC. It also has a new distributor, water pump, oil pump, flywheel.....even new plugs and wires. I've seriously got to go gambling this weekend. I need that engine.

If I had my choice, I'd take the crate engine. At least you know what you're getting. Alot of people that buy KLZE's get less than desirable engines, and even if you return them you have to eat return shipping.

Man that really sucks. My friend got hosed by osaka for a cyclone motor for his DSM, the first time he went to turn it over it bent all the valves. maybe he never checked the timing belt? But still, no good.
