problemos
alright...if there is anybody that knows anything aboot this problem (OR SOLUTION!) talk to me.
After driving the car for about 30 minutes, when i come to a complete stop the car stutters. When i look at the RPM meter the needle is playing between the 0 and the line under the one... then it stalls. When i turn it back on it still stutters.. I'm thinking it could be the heat because it happens slower on Cold days (meaning i have to drive longer for the car to act up)
Whats the problem and how do i solve it...
Thanks fellas

Re: problemos
Yup, I got the same problem here. I haven't really done much about it cause I'm about to do the ZE swap. I did turn up the idle a little, and it helped quite a bit.

Re: problemos
Am I reading it right that the tach needle is jumping from 0-1000rpm very quickly- not in synch with the engine?

Re: problemos
Guess what... Same problem..
But I would check the large accordian looking hose on your air box for cracks. Mine has a crack and I keep tapping it up with electrical tape and the problem gets much better. It holds the pressure properly when seeled. But when the tape wears and comes off the problem comes back. I'm evetually going to get a cold-air filter..
Hope it helps...

Re: problemos
Holy S**T did you buy the SE that was for sale in auto trader? from some guy who "bought it for his GF, and now wants to sell it?
Best way to fix it (It will be expensive to order from Mazda) is to get 3' PVC pipe, 3' hose connecters, and a cone filter. If you need more info, do a search and their actual directions on this, or just e-mail me.
