Anyone else bought this? The shop im getting my body kit n stuff put on put it together today and went to fit it, and it WILL NOT FIT. At first they said they thought it was for a different car, but it could just be a erebuni cheap immatation. Anyone else have this problem? Should I call the place i bought it from and get another one sent, or will it be the same one again that wont fit?<p>[ July 13, 2003: Message edited by: THStrumpet ]</p>

This wing you have to cut two holes on each side of the hatch.
Where doesn't fit?

a) You need a hatch garnish
b) You need to drill two holes on each side of the hatch

Hey, I know holes have to be drilled (the shop thats putting on my kit was the one who showed me). I have the 4cyl mx3, so I have the hatch garnesh. When they placed it on there, it was too short width ways to be able to connect it to the either side of the hatch, plus it looked if the back was pressed to be even with the hatch garnish, the front edges popped up about 3 or 4 inches.<p>I called who i bought it from on ebay (octane motorsports) and they said to first call erebuni, so the shop is going to do that sometime today or tommorow. It will get taken care of either way, but i just am annoyed that i will have my whole kit on and new paint job but will not have a spoiler for probably another month!

QUESTION: My dad took the spoiler up to a place where an mx3 was sitting without the black peice on the back of the hatch (i assume thats the hatch garnish), it was outside a shop and the piece was missing or removed. He said when he held it up to that it looked like an exact fit.... so, my question is if it will fit if i take the black piece off, even though i thought it was required to have one!?

It looks like the Erebuni wing doesn't need the hatch garnish, while the FX Designs wing does (or can be mounted over a stock spoiler.) Does the Erebuni wing have an upper and lower horizontal piece connecting the left and right uprights? It looks like the FX Designs just has an upper.

Man, thats good news, I thought I was going to have to send it back and stuff.

I have the wong you are talking about and you are supposed to put it on with out a hatch garnish thats why it comes with he thing that lies acrossed the middle of the hatch. I might want to put some wheather stripping on under the front of it so no water doesn'tget in the old holes from the hatch garnish
