BReak Light Trouble

Post by wheelmanmx3 »

When ever I put my foot on the gas, to drive faster than normal the break light comes on and doesnt go off untill third gear. I need no know should i change the car to synthetic oil
Its not about how fast it goes, but about how well you drive it when it goes fast.

this is a very frequently asked question...though Im not sure it in the faqs... You should check and top up your brake fluid level.

this might sound kind of silly, but check to see if your e-brake handle is loose. Mine is, and if I accelerate hard, the inertia from the car moving forward fast makes it raise up, not enough to engage the e-brake, but enough to make the dash light come on.

if the light comes on and stays on for a second or so, its the fluid level. If it flickers, then it is the ebrake.
