I found out that my distributer is gone, and instead of fixing my 380000 KM engine i am going to buy a new one. I think i am going to try to be different and buy the K8(my original engine) and make it as good as possible. i just have a couple of questions i thought someone may be able to help me out with

1. Where is a good place to buy a GOOD QUALITY K8??

2.can a KLZE intake manifold fit on a K8 as a direct replacement. will i get more HP???

Humm, about the intake,

No, don't use the KL-ZE intake, as there will be too much turbulence in the air, then creating less power..

If you need a new engine, buy a KF-ZE.. They are cheaper in price than a K8 or KL engine, and produce more HP..

The trouble, if you need any gaskets, you'll go custom afterward.

What hes referring to is mounting the KLZE w/ Square intake runner ports on a head with round ports. It will hit the edges of the head and cause air turbulance.

I got lucky and picked up my KFZE for 277.50 shipped on Ebay. I guess it was before the engine was known in the mx-3 community.

as you can tell its very clean. Check on Ebay or a JDM engine distributor 1st and check on KFZEs. There are a few people on the list that can get ECUs as well if you cant get one.
