I just went to Parts Source and looked at the 90-95 zr-1 Oil filter and it looks as though there was no way it would fit on our cars. can someone clarify this for me.

I've been using them for the past year. If you looked up a regular corvette it will be wrong.

Uh huh, thats the whole idea. The gasket is slightly wider too but it will still seal fine.

Turns out all hondas use the same size filter on their smaller 4 cyl motors, which happen to be teh same as teh festiva filter, which happens to be the same size as the V6 (gasket and thread pitch are identical).
I'm using a corvette filter right now, huge, but same price and seems to do its job.

dudes cant you get it,
1)bigger filter means more cleaning material to clean through your dirty oil
2)bigger capacity, means you gonna be able to have more oil in your crankcase, thus reducing risk of running dry at high rpms, or if youre doing lots of racing(bigger crankcase helps a lot in this situation).

more oil does not mean more power
more air usually means more power
