So i am going to do intake... but what? I think i may just build my own. My goal is more sound than performance as far as i am concerned, as the gain in power from an intake is miniscule. I have read PRMs are not really loud intakes plus spending near $200 for something that will ultimately do next to nothing for me is not my idea of a good investment. My question is who has a really loud intake, and what is it? How is it set up? Thanks much for responses.

i have a prm intake its not really loud but when it sucks air it sounds aggressive as hell

I got a HKS intake kit.<p>Loadest I have heard so far. VERY cool sound <p>nope-mx3

I just have a huge cone filter. It is quite loud. If you want you can remove the resonance tube and make the intake louder you will lose a bit of low end torque supposedly though.

I got a Weapon R intake and it's the LOUDEST I've ever heard so far... :p :p

well i wouldn't advise this, but the knob that had my car b4 me, just banged out the bottom of the air box, and it was pretty loud, especially since i put on a new dtm muffler, without a resinator, sounds good, and my neighbbors just love me now.
