2.5L KL-ZE swap prices???

I have been thinking about this swap now and i decided to go trough with it this summer. Does anyone know where I should get my KL-ZE engine from? I found a couple of places on the net that sales them but are they reliable. I heard that corkscrew is good but they charge the most for the engine. Also, has anyone ever ordered a KL-ZE and recived a normal 170hp 2.5??? Would suck if that happened. How much does it cost to ship accross north america (from corksport to calgary, alberta for example).<P>I live in Canada so please specify if you guys are talking about US or can dollars.<P>Thanks :p

I have lost my faith in them due to the fact that I called them and they said they could get me the engine I needed for the swap but he would email me the shipping cost ...that was a week ago ...still no shipping quote!!!!!!!<BR>I don't wish to spend a grand on something that I cant see and touch when the guy can't even follow up with emails!<P>Jeff M<BR>Dayton Ohio

Well, you get whatever tranny you want, either ATX or MTX, depending on your car. What do u mean by "does it come with 2.5L manifolds?"

I just went to swapjdm.com. For $1299 it comes with a transmission? Is that right, or do you have to pay extra for the transmission? Seems too good to be true.

Your best bet is to email them, and tell them what you want. KLZE with ECU/5spd. THey may no thave one right then, but they are good about letting you know when it comes in. <P>I have been on their mailing list about what they get and when for a few months now and I have been emailed atleast two or three times but I am holding off til I can find the time to put it in myself.

What's the difference between the ATX and MTX trannys??? Once the new engine is in... it would be nice to have a 5th gear that I can cruise at 120km/h and not be at 4000 rpm (smaller or taller gear ratios? i always get the two confused )<P>Anyways... anyone know the difference between the two? And is there 6spd that would fit in the mx-3???<P>Thanks
