stone chips

My bonnet looks shite cos there are so many stone chips. It might be cos I regularly hit the limiter at 120mph or it gets so hot that paintwork is easily cut by stones. I need a spray job but am thinking of putting in air vents. Any one reccomend the best thing to do for air intake and the cheapest?
