i have a chance at 2 different subs, what one sounds like a better deal (and would sound better to have)

Rockford P110 s4 10" for $85
OR
Infinity Reference series 12 - 120W 12" sub WITH box (home made sealed box) for $125

what is the better deal of the 2?

go with the infinity' if ur looking for a really deep bang. heh... i got two 12' rf's 1200w each and im happy as a mofo. ofcourse im pushing 1800watts through them.

well..the 120w was just the name of what the speaker was listed at but this is the spec's it has

Power Handling Max 1200 Watts
Power Handling Nominal 300 Watts

If you just want a single sub go for the 12". If you can get two of those 10" Rockfords, that would probably be the best bang for you buck. But some people like to have a trunk.

Mono amp for two subs.
Stereo 2ch amp, bridged for one sub.

hey man if you are getting a p110 for 85 then your getting riped off you should be able to finr them for at least 10 dollars cheaper than that. also note that those subs are only 150 watt rms each works great for our car but you could do more.
