Thanks to this guy sheller and his post, i found some really good sound deadening material. I would definitely recommend it. MUCH MUCH cheaper than the dynamat brand. Just a little comparison...<p>POSITIVE
Dynamat- better looking, more malleable
Mcmaster stuff- thicker, cheaper<p>NEGATIVE
Dynamat- expensive, messy to work with(especially when it is hot out)

can you warm the mcmaster carr stuff up with a heat gun to make it more pliable? I would love to see how it looks Steve.

Yes you could warm it up to make it more malleable, but it's really not necessary(at least now what i need it for). It's just a dull gray color. You know how dynamat has an aluminum backing, and then the tar material, well this stuff is just the material, no aluminum backing.

Raamat is GREAT! The stuff is great quality and the guy who runs it is even better. If you go to elitecaraudio.com and check out some of the forums you will notice people have had problems and such before like with anything but this guy is so into customer service that he gets it resolved in a matter of minutes. Its really cool, one of the only people i know of that dedicated.
