I just installed two 6 1/2 in speakers in the doors and in the the back hatch without a single prob or any mods to the car. Not hard at all. Took 45 min to an hour and they sound sweet.<P>Try It!!!

All u have to do is remove the plastic cover. Then instead of cutting out some plastic just slip the 6.5 under the plastic brace and use force to pin it in there. I have not damaged the speakers doing this and they haven't moved yet and I even live on a bumpy a-- gravel road. So try it and if you dont like the outcome start cutting or make your own bracket. my car didn't have those pain in the butt brackets in the way when i got it. i guess i got a retard plastic piece or something or maybe i just got lucky. Anyways i have a 6.75 inch kenwood midbass back there with an Ultimate crossover mounted underneath of it.
