I was just wondering how many Nirvana fans were out there, today being the 10th anniversary of the death of Kurt Cobain. I know I'm one. All day I've been listening to my Nirvana collection.

Yeah, bands like nirvana and green day were pretty much all i listened to when i was younger, mainly green day though, they will never stop being cool

hold on i would like to argue, something, i really dont think that nirvanna or anyone in that type of music is going to have a real effect on music, look @ what rapper, & bands nowwa days say they listen too, more of them were influenced by early punk than grunge music

Everyone I know still listens to Nirvana, hell I do all the time.

As far as "rapper" listing your so-called "old school punk" is classic case of "MTV-itius"

First of all. Forget MTV and forget all these "Pop Rappers" and what they said. Secondly, if they did list any "old school punk" which is nothing like this crap that is out today, it was probably the Ramones or Sex Pistols, and a shout-out at best. They were more interested in NWA, Rakem, Slick Rick, Grandmaste Flash, Public Enemy & ChuckD, RUNdmc...were the first I thought of out of many many.
