I'm looking to hook my xbox up with a mod chip. All i'm really concerned about is the ability to watch divx movies and run games from the 120gb hard drive. The ability to run the xbox to my home network would be nice too but not necessary. Dont care about the xbox live probs either, ps online rocks! Anyone have experience with this particular chip? Will it do all of these features? Any problems i should note? :2thumbsup:

Xbox live rules! What games have you played on it? Do you still play on it now?

modding your xbox is a lot more involved than you think.

You will have to download 5-10 programs for your PC, use a network cable to interface between your PC and your xbox, install the mod chip, then flash the BIOS, install a new dashboard (thats what lets you play backups and dvd's without a remote) and do a few other things to allow you to turn your chip on/off so you won't get banned from xbox live.

It took me about 3 days to do all of this crap, it was VERY involved, not really that difficult if you know computer stuff, but still a pain in the arse.
