therx-8

Post by plusinfinit »

Hey i am a valet driver in cleveland and i work for a nice hotel , all kind of nice cars around there for me to park and drive . So last weel i had the chance to drive an RX-8 and yes it has some power, the owner told me thet he kept up with a 96 vette. The car is just awsome inside, but one thing sucks it has no torque at really low rpm. But hey those cars weren't made for low rpm.
I had the chance to drive a honda 2000, and if i was to pick one i would pick the mazda.
PS: i drive all kinds of nice **** and the best is... i am geting payed to do so. :p

Let me tell you, as I was rounding the rose garden to the VIP parking lot at 7mph I could just feel the torquiness of the rotary and the smoothness of the suspension. Coming up to the speed bump I punched the gas and hit a whopping 2000rpm with ease and powered my way over that speed bump... :D

That would be pretty cool to be able to drive cars around all day and get paid to do so. :2thumbsup:

Man believe it or not , there is no rose garden around where i work. Yah it is true i don't pick up much speed but i put the pedal to the floor and keep it there on a one way street and a huge parking garage which both are mostly empty. Trust me speeding in an empty parking garage with some rich guys corvette leaves a lasting impresion. Unfortunately i haven't gotten to drive an rx-7 yet.
Some advice: u better tip the valet guy before u give him your car.lol.
