After paintballing this year(renting all the time) im thinking about putting a paintball gun on my Christmas list. So i want to hear from people what guns they have, pros, cons and problem they have had with that make. Im looking for a really good semi auto with refillable tank nothing fancy. Just want reliability and acursie.

I was really into it a few years ago but i got so good I got tired of it

. I didnt have the money or resources to enter tournaments so i just gave it up. It is sure alot of fun though. I wasnt the semi-automatic type...I had my phantom pump gun. It's not a spray and hope you hit someone kind of thing, its one shot one kill. The gun cost me 200 bucks, plus a 45 dollar aluminum tank, 45 dollar bottom line kit, hopper, elbow, and butt plate. Tons of fun, but if you are the impatient type who just wants to spray paint i recommend a tippman. They are tough as nails and are fairly accurate as well.

Smart Parts Impulse. It is the best gun in my opinion. I have it, shoots 14 balls a second, more accurate then an angle. I know a guy that sells them for a good price. I dont know if he ships to Canada but I dont see why not. Contact me if you want, hes got all the parts to trick it out too.

Yeah auto c o c k ers are great guns but take talent to work on and keep good. Impulse's are all electronic and once you have it set up right, you will never have to touch it again.

That takes away the fun though. Working on your gun after a good war is kind of like cleaning your guns when you are done hunting, its a good BS story time too. No matter what kind of gun you get, if you want it to last you have to oil it

But do you want an eletric trigger that you can pull half a centimeter or do you want to be yankin back on it? Like I said, 14 balls per second with the Impulse, its close to imposible to shoot that much but the gun is able to. I can handle about 10-12

Well when I was in the Army I was on a sponsored tournament team..and I loved my autoc.o.c.ker (damn spell editor). But for a relatively cheap, and extremely reliable marker, I'd definatley say a Tippman 98. Those things are nearly impossible to break. I've ran over them with cars/trucks and been able to just dust it off and fire away. Relatively accurate with the stock barrel. But alot better if you find an aftermarket one. And parts for Tippmans are about as easy to find as parts are for a civic.

Well i don't want electric trigger and if you yanking on the trigger well your doing something wrong. If i had a chose i would have a c7 made into paint ball gun. And 14 balls/sec that's a waste. I was looking at the spyder shutter they cot my eye any one know anything on them? mx3tt thanks for the offer i might take you up on it, anymore info you can throw my way, thanks

i have a spyder imagine, its pretty phat, automatic.. electronically controlled..
dont know how many balls per second but its damn fast, and pretty accurate. it was also cheap, about 100 bucks brand new (got it on ebay) so i was very happy with it, haven't had any problems with it but i havent used it much yet
good luck!
