did anyone take the IQ test on Fox?

hey i took that test. i scored a 121 for my age :~) soim a 22 year old w/ a 121 IQ its kinda kewl. i guess

For a legal standardized test, 60 is retarded...where as anything above 120 is savant. Nate Dog, i think it's time you go to some kind of special school for gifted people...cause you bascially just said you're a genious. lmao<p>I scored 107, meh....average i guess.

mmmm 120 is still pretty average, something like 10% of the population, and ya 110 is the average, something like 80 is legally handicapt.

Thats not bad, they tend to vary depending on what kind of test they are, some lean towards book smarts and others towards logic, and then theres probably one for every given subject. <p>IQ tests are still under debate in the scientific comunity since they dont really gauge according to conditions you were educated, any mental conditions you might have, what state of mind you are in at the time its taken and so on. Your IQ shouldnt be based on how well you perform under stress to beat the clock, that is what an aptitude test is. So dont think your retarded if you do bad on one.<p>I think IQ tests aren't very accurate for most people, while the person can be very intellegent they might have difficulty consintrating and collecting thoughts under pressure, this is a common problem for most people.<p>But anyways I'm really supprised fox would do a nation wide test on such an unproven method.

The IQ tests you see on the internet are obviously fake and full of BS. They don't work.<p>They only way to gauge an accurate IQ of yourself is to have someone else test you, under proper conditions, with ammendments or convieniences made pertaining to your current situation.<p>If you have trouble concentrating under pressure given because of a medical condition, or you just need an extra hour or two to relax, they'll give it to you.<p>Anything above 120 is Above Average and considered very good. Anything under that is considered average. If you're under 100 you need help - no joke, being serious here.<p>~A

I dont agree at all man, under 100 you need help? 110 is average so 100 is not too far below average, and 120 like I said above is 10% of the population, thats 1 in 10 for our friends below 100" anyways but im glad you agree as far as conditions and handicaps. And some internet tests are from legit institutions, its pretty easy to figure out which ones are not.<p>Id just like to add that an IQ test is a test of how intellegent a person is capable of being not of how intellegent a person is. However, on the internet I've reached 142, 101, and 133. Nothing even close.<p>~A

I dont remember my score but the doc said out of 100 people i would be 90. I was tested at a shrink's office by the way. NO i didnt go there because i was a nut case, it was required that i get tested because i was joining a program for foster kids.

Ya I was tested in a shrink office about 5 years ago, I still have the report they wrote up. I was in grade 10 and tested at university levels" in all but english, never liked english.

Sorry buddy, 110 is not 'average'. The IQ score is based upon a bell curve generated from results of people within your age bracket. 100 is the normalized score, meaning it is the basis for deciding the other scores. 100 is the average, and that's how it works.
