The Civic Type R was only released in japan. You could always convert. Check a civic forum for more information. Course if you go there they're all gonna say they drive type R's :D

The Civic Type-R is available with leftside steering.
It`s part of the standard model list in europe.
I guess you should be able to get one from japan too, since they are made there.
Me, I`d rather get a `98 Eclipse GS-T or GSX :)
nope-mx3

My bad.. 145 torque

quote:
From http://www.hondacivictype-r.com/ : Powered by a new 2.0 litre DOHC i-VTEC engine developing a mighty 200 PS (197 bhp) at 7,400 rpm, the new Civic rockets to 60mph in 6.4 seconds - and carries on to top 146 mph. Maximum torque is 196Nm (145lb-ft) at 5,900rpm, promising levels of performance better than of the Integra Type-R - the car that the Civic Type-R replaces.

[ February 05, 2003: Message edited by: Manach ]

ok that is a left hand drive ctr but i think he was askin for a 98. ek chassis in left hand drive not the ep chassis. if u want one of those on this side of the ocean just drop a rsx type-s motor in. i dont know but i still dont think there are any left hand drive ctr's in the ek chassis
there are a lot of wannabe type-r's everywhere but its easy to spot them out if you know the differences. i think having a civic type-r would be different here cuz its probably one in a handful of millions of other cars here.
[ February 09, 2003: Message edited by: Steeb ]
