has anyone in the ontario area ever use points to fight a ticket?

Yeah I went to them and found that they were way to over priced and didn't want to give a guarantee on winning or even knocking down the charge.<BR>Shop around- I know there's a place around here that guarantee's they'll win or it's free.<BR>Good Luck.

Bro' ... I used Points to fight my first and last ticket ... 132 km/h in a 90 zone and 85km/h in a 50zone ... And all I had to pay was the cost of the ticket plus $50 ... and all charges were dropped!!! ... It was great ... But the thing with them is that depending on which area you got your ticket in the Points specialist really varies soooo ... But if you are looking for a guranteed win or its free ... try X-Coppers or something like that it is called ... Ex-Cops working against the Cops ... They are fairly good as well ... or so I am told [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img] ... cheers

hey,<P>I used Points in February in Brampton, and they got me off free and clear! It cost me $500 but I won my case, lost no points, and had an insurance clain overturned in my favor...<P>I'ld recomment them from my experience.

I actually just used them this month.<P>Last year I was charged with careless driving which was an exagerated charge I believed. It was a result of a minor accident I had with a taxi.<P>Anyways the court date was this past Thursday.<P>So this is what I did, I managed to make a deal with one of the guys there at points so that I would pay him under the table seperate from the business. That way I only paid like $200 instead of like $600 for it what they would normally charge for something like that.<P>The guy did good work, he managed to get me off 100%. They dimissed all three charges, one for careless, the other two some other petty violations.<P>The cop didn't show up but the taxi driver(the guy I hit) and the other witness did show up however they couldn't prove for sure that I was actually driving, my friend was in my car at the time too so the two witnesses weren't 100% sure if I was actually driving so I got off all three charges! <P>So no points and no fines, great stuff!
