'87 RX-7 Worth fixing?

Hi all,<P>I was just offered an '87 RX-7 for $1000 (Canadian - $600/us)as a project car...Needs a fuel pump, plugs, wires and brake work. Light rust on rocker panels.<P>Is it worht it? Does anyone have any experience with the RX-7's?<P>Let me know.<P>Mac

Saying a Project Car... So you got money?<P>Low Kilo on that car? I had the same offer, except the engine is blown... Your one don't seem too hard to fix, if you know how.<P>I would love a new Rx-7, but an old time like that one, I won't say no. Never got an experience with driving one, only saw the one past by me a lot of time

Those seems pretty stong.<P>2 cents<P>Ps.: Ohh, 1000$ for a '87. If it got a high Kilo, drop the price... And for the fixes too...

Yeah its worth it. My friend has a first gen and second gen.(which is what that is) and he loves it. Check out the rust though. they tend to be pretty bad. They are awesome fun and great to drive. There are tons of RX-7 clubs, check them out. The body kits are also pretty nice.
