I just mailed off my payment for a set of 240 km/hr blue/ green indiglow gauge faces for my mx. Is it difficult to remove the stock gauge faces? Anything i should know about the wiring so that i dont hurt my car? have any of you done this mod or a similar one? Please share your wisdom.

Try a search, there's some good info out there if you'll look for it.

I hope u didnt get the ones off ebay.
Ask Paul (hex3) about his. His worked for 1 day then went out. Had no luck with getting returned contacts, I found out what other domains they had and checked for contacts, they were kinda shocked to see we called tis number and tried to bursh us off. After vebally stoping a mudhole in is a-- he agreed to send us parts which did not fix the problem. He will be returning them and buying speedhut ones.

mine are in, I love them. Only problem I have had is that I mounted the RPM gauge a little off center so the needle stuck. Fixed it easy tho.
The way I hooked it up (with help from Barry) is I used the stock dimmer switch. The info says not to, but if you make sure and mount it BEFORE the dimmer, then it's fine. If you mount it after and then dim it, it will burn them out. Make sure that it's the right wire. I believe it's the wire with the stripe (sorry forgot colors). Good luck, I hope you enjoy them.

the stripe wire colour should be red/black - if I recall correctly.

Thanks for all the advice guys, they should be in my mailbox tomorrow afternoon. But whats all this about the dimmer? and before and after it? am i supposed to turn the dimmer all the way down and then install them, or the other way arround? or am i not even thinking of the right thing? is there much wire splicing involved?

should be 1 wire to splice, just ground it to the chasis. I wired mine to my headlight switch.

Woo Hoo! Gauge faces are here, The link to the info site they sent me isnt working, but i think i'll figure it out. So im getting ready to put these bad boys in, any last tips or suggestions? I'll post a step by step how to on my site when im done. granted of course, that all goes well. If you have them in, where did you mount the little switch that came with them? i was thinking on the underside of the cluster thing above the ignition, but we'll see.

people brake the fuel and temp gauge putting them in because so what I did was on the back of the cluster unscrewed the temp and fuel gauges so they came rigth out of the cluster and are held together but the face them put the nuw face on the remove one screw on the face at a time the put the gauges buck into the cluster with the clock
It will make sence when you get into it

These things suck. They arent even Blue indiglow, they are just like a really really light blueish green color. I drove arround my neighborhood after i installed them and its impossible to pay attention to the road. even with them turned all the way down, they still are really bright. and i broke the needle on my Fuel gauge. Grrr...not a good mod. Im going to order the reverse gauges off of Procarparts.com, unless anyone knows where i can get a set of reverse Km/hr gauges? And after i get the others, i'll sell these to anyone that wants them for like, $25 bucks US. But be warned, they arent that great.
