Have you checked the actual connection? I know you probably have but it may be possible that it is somewhere in the wiring that is causing some of the problems.<P>I would go to UAP/NAPA for an alternator. They have a waranty and will take your old one for exchange. I don't have much else to offer as a solution, sorry.
