Poor Jarid =*(

Post by VizualXTC »

As most of you prolly know by now, our good friend Jarid wrecked his car. He was driving down the road and from out of nowhere a minivan appeared in front of him, and he ran up under her a-- end. Luckily Jarid was OK but Rogue (his MX-3) got a little banged up. I have posted the pix on here for him but first I would like to say a few words.
Rogue, You have always been like a brother to me. I remember the old times when we used to play marbles in the dirt, and drink coke out of glass bottles. I remember when we used to frolic in the horse fields and when I used to give you piggy back rides thru the park. (BTW, you owe me for chiopractor bills) I remember the time we ordered pizza for Jarid without him knowing. I remember.....wait! I don't remember any of this. It must be all a lie. Oh how could I do that? Oh well. Rogue, get better dood, we all miss you. Plus I gotta show Jarid that you aren't very fast and that VizX can beat you. HAHAHA
Here are the pix.
Image Image
Image
Image
[ June 06, 2002: Message edited by: VizualXTC ]

It was indeed a sad day.... Just left a tire shop with some new Kuhmos and was behind a minivan. We were goin pretty good when she started to make a right hand turn to an offstreet.. I looked to my left to make sure no cars were comin the other way. As I looked forward I saw her car stopped in the middle of her turn. I slammed on the brakes but too late. I saw the hood buckle and heard the a/c condenser pop. Pulled off the road and got out to look at my car. As you can see its not toooo bad but i still shed tears. Luckily I was at corksport the day before getting a MOMO steering wheel when Ben showed me a MS style bumper. Looks pretty nice so I ordered it the next day. When Ben heard about my accident he and Derrick did everything in their power to get me my bumper and lenses asap. Thanks guys! Anyway, needless to say I had to drive 650 miles with my car lookin like that. I found all the other parts at mazdarecycling.com and picked them up already. Dropped off my baby at the body shop this mornin and they are gonna take goood car of her. Thanks guys for your support. I know I talk to a bunch of you guys on a daily basis and I know you feel my pain. I will keep ya all posted.

Glad you are ok, I guess the damage could have been a lot worse. It's good to hear you got most of the parts you need to fix it. Did you get lots of looks driving 650 miles with your car looking like that?

I said " I dunno!! I just came outside and it was like this!! Well I am now moved to Oregon and she's all better. I am prolly gonna get a different bumper. I have a MS style now but would rather have an FX designs one. You are too far away to go to the mx west meet right? If not i will see ya there!!
