I've got a '91 Mazda AZ3 Autozam. The problem is that it sometimes stalls or kinda shakes when i change down gears and come to a stop at a give way or stop sign etc. It doesnt always do this, but it also hapens more when i have to change from 5th right down, or when i have to give way to a car it shudders or just salls. The car is standard at the moment, and i was just wondering if anyone knew why it was doing this. I dont think it would be the clutch, but i dont know what it could be because it just seems to lose power.

Im wondering if it is my EGR Valve, coz it seems to to either stall or idles really roughly, or do u think it could be my ISC(idle speed controller). If anyones has experienced stuff like this can u please tell me or if you know something else that could be causing it. Do AZ3s even have distributors-ive been told they dont-and could it be this that doin it?? Any help would be much appreciated.

hmm well i;ve read numerous articles about that happening and it being the distributor, like it will run at high rpms, but it runs like s--- of stalls at idle
