Re: Drum to disc
Nope. Not a fool. It can be done many different ways.<P>I recommend a 1992 mx6 or 626 at the junker and take the following:<P>Disks - (DUH!)<BR>Calipers<BR>Emergency brake assembly<BR>Emergency brake cable<BR>Shocks (I'm playing it safe here)<BR>Springs<BR>Both Axles<P>I guarrantee you'll make several trips back to the car you just gutted before you get it all.<P>The other options are:<P>Torch<BR>Grinder<BR>Really expensive, new kit (AEM)<BR>Lots of money to get it right.<BR>
White 1992 MX-3 RS Turbo<BR>"Live Boosted or Die!"
Re: Drum to disc
Would all you need are the Spindels , rotors, and Calipers? I really dont see why the crap would you need the springs, struts and stuff for brake work?

Re: Drum to disc
I have thought of this mod but it seems like alot of work. The setup adds weight to the car and most of your braking is in the front anyways. I was talked out of this mod by a couple people on this board. Well thats my two cents...<P>------------------<BR>Jarid Perry<BR> 94 Blaze Red RS<BR> 14.62@99.4<BR> Now with NOS

Re: Drum to disc
I was told by the guy at the salvage yard that the rear disc set-up WOULD add weight to the rear wheels and as Jarid mentioned, the front brakes do most of the work...that's my nickel[did'nt have two cents]...Manny
