URGENT! Need help with Apex springs!

Hi everyone, I have a friend who also has an mx3, and he just bought Apex springs, had them installed on KYB GR2 struts! First thing we noticed when we got out of the garage was that the rear ones where making a loud thumping sound on every bump! It seems that the apex springs are really weak, the stock ones are actually stiffer than the Apex's. <BR>Now my question is, have any of you guys ever had the same problem and what did you do!
