I cant wait to hear the sound of this on a ZE. I hope it sounds EXACTLY like it does on the K8.

To me it almost seems louder at idle. it has a very nice grumble. I did notice a small loss in upper end response but for the sound I cant go wrong. Its not like I am racing it all the time. I strongly recommend putting a layer of peel and seal on the heat shield, cut the noise down so much, You can actually hold a conversation on the inside of the car while driving down the freeway. at 70mph i am at about 3800 RPM and it gets drowning. I may swap the resonator back to the other one just to see. It could be just a touch louder IMO. I will get them posted.

That is the plan, I am going to start with the rear strut towers and cargo area, as most of my road noise comes from there, and then the doors. I have to figure out some kind of cap to go over the coilovers and camber plates as well as when you look at them you can see the road.

Those currently reside on my '92 GS :freak:

Although, the rubber cover isn't present. I imagine putting silicone sealant around the edges(after a thorough cleaning) would do quite well for keeping water out(That stuff handles vibration pretty well).

I tried to get a few vids of each, idle rapping it out and whatnot.

Ok so here is the before - Heders > No Cat > Straight threw res > Magnaflow muffler

http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae32 ... M00004.mp4

http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae32 ... M00006.mp4

http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae32 ... M00007.mp4

MS box is - Headers > no cat > corkscrew style resonator no baffles > GS MS muffler

There is a bit of smoke but it is mostly fuel from no cat and running the KL36 ecu. But the majority of the smoke is from it being below freezing not because the engine is cold!

http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae32 ... M00067.mp4

http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae32 ... M00069.mp4

Then decided to put these on... yep my second set of MX-3 SS sills.

Is it weird that I would powdercoat my sills black if I picked a set up? :freak:

I want to paint mine... I keep resisting the urge, for fear of condensation seeping in.

The white looks good, I still prefer black, but it looks a lot better than I'd have expected!

Well I may just ditch the glass lenses and go with full clear. I am going to play with them some more. only reason they are not on the car yet is due to the tabs being broken off and I have to make new ones. only concern is a little bit of chrome is flaking on the very inside of the light so if I go with clear lens then I need new centers. Decisions decisions :)
