i wasnt using your post as calling you out or anything. i was using it as a reference and backing up what you had to say...and in no way calling you a retard. ust backing up what you had to say and saying read previous post or other forums about turbocharging and youll see what will be needed to be done to get higher boost and after obtaining the higher boost that an intercooler will be a great add and pratically a nessacity for boost above 8psi.

Ok, all engines are different considering they were produced well over ten years ago. They wear differently, so you may have no problems where as another guy might install the kit and throw a weak rod through the block.
The idea here is...If you're interested, and serious, about tuning your car, you can install the kit and gain power. If you choose to, you can run higher boost and achieve more power at the risk of breaking something.
This has been developed as an end or starting point, depending on how involved you intend to be.
After 6-8 months of operation without problems, you might decide to up the boost and do some further upgrades and tuning (cooling, fuel/engine management).
As for the intercooler...It cools the air charge before intake manifold. The cooler charge provides greater density and lower combustion temperatures which in turn avoids detonation (i.e. combustion due to compression+temperature, before the Boom).
**Detonation is a nightmare on your engine.
