Yeah buddy cannot wait, new tyres fast approaching!
Have to say really impressed with the E-tech paint! I have a nice plan now too for the centre caps to create some nice interest on them so the middle of the wheel wont look too thick?! Involves a good 'ol more bit of machining, but Im willing to give it a go :D
With 2 wheels painted I needed a break from the fumes and to be outside in this glorious weather decided to revisit and old mod I had planned with these 323 rear spats modded to fit the front. Happy I decided to do so as I got one side pretty much mounted :D Albeit a dent in the Sill putting paid to a nice smooth line and have nowhere to bolt down the tip end to (Maybe some velcro and/or trim tape needed?!)
Had to do alot of cutting to get these up and fitted right, will do a how to guide somewhen but you basically just end up with an L shape spat.

No wories, well happy with them now as they are sitting just right with the aid of some Velcro.
While Im waiting on another few cans of wheel paint I decided to mock up for a possible hatch
visor make, out of alu. or ABS plastic, not sure which one yet, but you get the idea.

Painted the rear lip too with the same enamel I used on the spats.

All four centre caps got the machine treatment today along with a little polish
whilst no-one was looking. Polished part to be masked then rest of the cap painted white!

Yes should be nice! :D Will have one together soon to show..

Bought a hatch visor in the end to try and make it fit! Did not spend a huge amount on this just in case is was way off, first look seems alright though. :D

Another thing I'm working on too whilst saving for tyres is tinting the rear lights completely red, will be trying out 24 LED amber bulbs with load resistors to stop them flashing to fast.

or just do this, I can confirm that it works cause i did it. Not sure what happens when you want to switch back to regular bulbs though.

That seems a good solution thanks for posting! Shame I already bought a pair of resistor relays with bullet connectors already,
they where only like £4 for a pair.

Update a bit overdue so here goes! :D

Hatch shade painted and siliconed on:
Image

Flush rear bung plug made and fitted:
Image
Image

New OE spec disc's & pads upfront.
Image

Changed sump yet again, this has sealed properly now with expensive sealent and has a proper
welded in union for oil return, cladded in 4.5mm of stainless sheet should do a good job of protection.
Image

Invested in a roll cab which has made job so much easier and quicker! :D
Image
Image

New wheels are on! They are 9Jx16 ET15 with 205/45 tires (Goodyear Eagle F1's rear/Brav barums upfront for now)
Does rub on the rear but will get to that later.
Image
Image

Keeping them clean and protected with this stuff, which is bloody good gear! smells amazing too :D
Image

Dialed in about 2.5 degrees of negative at the rear to solve the rub issue. Slotted the top strut hole and used
a serrated flange nut to keep it all in place.
Image
Image

Happy with the result, alot less rub now...
Image

and finally, got my decal on 8)
