I'm pretty sure they're glass headlights. He doesn't need the cleaner.

They are plastic, and yes I know about plastic cleaners, probably long before you have, I just haven't used them on these lights. The lights are really clear, but the beam pattern is different, so they don't look the same as the shitty USDM lights

Its ok, I know you were trying to help. The plastic is really resiliant on these lights.

I am not sure what the beam is like just yet as I am waiting for my 9004 pigtail connectors to arrive so I can wire them up to the H4 wires. I am guessing the cutoff will be more defined. If you look at the directional beams on my lights compared to yours (usdm) then you will see the difference. Also, the inside chrome peices are shorter and look abit different. There are 2-3 ppl on this board with these lights, but they are not really around anymore. Maybe they have old posts you can check out (groharlem and jschwaren (sp?))

Anyways, there is MUCH more to come :)

Re: Solo_ryder - 1993 MX-3 GS - Update! 94 Interior swap!

Post by solo_ryder »

Ok, so I decided that I want a cleaner/darker look in the GS. So I ripped the mint interior out of my red 94 GS parts car and installed it in my 93 after I cleaned it all up. I have a black leather racing seat I am gonna use on the drivers side. I need to fabricate up some brackets though. Here are the pics. I love the material and colors they used on these seats, I know some people don't like how this may look but good thing this ain't their car!

4 me the most important thing is dat i like it myself, don't really give a... what others think. It's ok, jus plain stock looking. Off course imo it might look better with a more racier interior, cause the exterior is jus freakin HOT!

Well this bad boy is going in once I mock up some bracket :) I just dont like the color scheme on the older style seats, even though they are nicer by means of supporting you. Another issue with the old seats I had are they are to high, I am 6'3 and the 92s sit much higher then the 94's..
