Actually that's not a bad idea, if you can let us know your exact closes position to the area, we could probably find it on a satellite map

If that what you were suspecting, I don't see how they are connected, Fry_81's pictures shows clearly an abandoned town, there are no signs of any type of airfield.
Easy find tho:

Fry's pics depict the traditional layout of the fire hydrant system, also military duplexes that have the front's of the houses facing the backyard, traditional setup of gym and pool, pics of dorm type barracks, a few non-tradional style buildings. If he looks really hard he may have to trak a bit to get to the airfield. Remember that the DND re-acxtivated this "station" in the early 60's - cold war era - hence probably the addition of newer buildings as opposed to 40's and 50's style. I'm going to gamble that a good majority of the buildings of of the 60ish vintage. Fry, should be able to find what appears to be a small firehall that will be keyly located somewhere between the airfield and the station/PMQ (Personel Married Quarters). Fry may have entered the PMQ area from obviously a different direction than from the airfield side. Being a small comms station there may have only been less than 30 operational staff yet there's enough ammentities to sustain a larger number, when required. Remember the social and political climate of the early 60's and the threat of the NUKE. Another contingency of the airstrip was to fly key government officials from major centres to that area to take advantage of the underground facility/bunker located 15-20 minutes at CFB Borden which was built to sustain and survive for an almost indeffinite period of time, the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust. This is by no means a town or village but has all the makings of one on a micro scale. Lets face, a town that small cannot afford all of that underground services - sewer, storm drains, central water supply. Take a good look and all homes will be af a time period that is probably within 1 to 2 years. Towns don't normally grow like that. Small towns cannot afford the infrastructure for sewers, water, storm drains, paved roads, sidewalks, streetlights .....not enough homes to generate the taxes to afford that. Are we getting a better picture now. I bet you Fry didn't see one single water well on anyones property. Give Fry a little more time to sleuth around a he'll find the runways or perhaps he'll use the directions provided by my links and check the airfield out and then follow the paths/roads leading away from the airfield and will probably end up at the PMQ/station area. But if you are not a believer, then that's OK too. Somebody shoot holes through this, or at least try.

As much sence as that makes, I don't see any non-accessible communities near by.
Honnestly, if Fry could indicate to us what street they started from which way they walked, we should be able to find it, especially on a sat map (if we're lucky enough to it to be in a hi-res area)
If we cna go to the site, and someone bring a laptop, we can install street & trips and my GPS receiver and get the EXACT location of that area.

Really though just be careful. Take a knife or a gun next time
Also, what would be wierd is if the next day that you come back there isnt a town
If I found a town like this in my area, I would run around it naked

Good idea for Fry's next trek - get better detailed pics and bring an ugly stick (guns and knives are for rednecks).

I'm sure Juan walking around naked with his "ugly stick" would do enough of a job to scare off would-be predators
