Is it gonna be like an inch longer so it could hide behind the panel? or will it require a spacer?
like i just said, you will have to cut your b-pillar and it will mount behind the panel. no spacers.

Do you have pics of the autobelt version yet?
I just put my downpayment for both of my autobelt bars: one brushed aluminum and the other black powdercoat.

Added you to the list.
I dont have pictures yet. It will literally be exactly the same as the one I posted only 3/4" longer, and without the slot in the bracket. I will post pics of both styles being test fitted in my car.
also, we need to drop the moniker "autobelt" version

its actually the more normal one and could be used on both seatbelts.. more like one is cut and the other is no cut

SWEET - that's exactly what I wanted... flush with the walls!
now I'm getting excited
So I went out to my car and took the panels off just to see what was going on underneath to make sure that hole is available...
Here's what it looks like for autobelt mx-3's (these are the driver's side pics - it's the same on both sides). From what I can tell there is a little metal piece that runs up and through the bolt hole we need. It seems the intended purpose is to reinforce the seatbelt in case there is ever increased stress... for me I will be cutting this piece so that it touches the bottom edge of the support of the bar (like resting underneath it).
Also, one other note, we will need to get a bolt to fit this since we don't have one there currently...
